United Nigeria Airlines has officially resumed scheduled commercial services into Osubi Airport in Warri, marking a significant comeback to provide safe and seamless flight operations to passengers on the route. 

The airline’s first flight, UN0548, arrived from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on August 25, 2025, and was welcomed with a traditional water salute and a red-carpet reception for passengers.

The resumption of flights was commended by Osubi Airport Manager, Mr. Winston Egwuatu, who noted that the return to Warri would stimulate economic activities in the city and its environs.

Renowned businessman and socialite, Obi Cubana, was among the passengers on the flight and praised United Nigeria Airlines for restoring operations into Osubi Airport. 

He called for increased flight frequencies to better serve the travelling public, expressing his excitement about the airline’s return to the route.
