The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has partnered Paystack to introduce a cashless contactless payment solution, OPERATION GO CASHLESS, at its airports.

Starting September 29, 2025, all payments at FAAN’s revenue points, including airport access gates, car parks, and VIP lounges, will be cashless. This initiative aims to enhance efficiency, improve revenue assurance, and deliver a better customer experience.

Travellers can use a secure contactless payment option, and ‘FAAN Go Cashless Cards’ can be obtained at airport access gates in Lagos and Abuja. To activate and fund their cards, users can visit www.gocashless.faan.gov.ng. Trained brand ambassadors will be available to guide users and answer questions.

FAAN plans to expand this cashless policy to other airports nationwide in phases and has provided a support line (0700-CBS-FAAN) and email address (gocashlesssupport@faan.gov.ng) for inquiries.

This move aligns with global digital trends and responds to the growing demand for safe, modern, and transparent payment systems.
