Julius Berger Group is making a strong statement at the Big 5 Construct Nigeria Expo in Lagos, showcasing the breadth of its engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing and support services alongside major players from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Kuwait and Africa.
The expo, which opened in Lagos on Tuesday, brings together manufacturers, developers, contractors, consultants, suppliers and technology providers seeking business and partnership opportunities in Nigeria’s expanding construction market.
At the centre of Julius Berger’s participation is its group pavilion, where several subsidiaries are demonstrating how the company has expanded beyond conventional construction into an integrated provider of solutions spanning engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing, building products and facility management.
Among the subsidiaries attracting attention is ABUMET Nigeria Limited, the Group’s specialist aluminium and glass solutions company.
ABUMET is showcasing a range of premium products, including its latest Glass Bridge and Balustrade Star, a unique ABUMET Grid2Shell product, alongside aluminium windows, curtain walls, façade systems and bespoke architectural solutions for commercial, residential and industrial developments.
The company’s experts are also engaging visitors on its fabrication processes, architectural applications and sustainable building technologies.
Also featured at the pavilion is PrimeTech Design and Engineering Nigeria Limited, which is highlighting its capabilities in architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as infrastructure planning and design.
Its displays cover modern engineering concepts, sustainable development solutions and master-planning capabilities applied across sectors including infrastructure and oil and gas.
Julius Berger Precast Services is showcasing its range of engineered concrete products, including paving stones, blocks, pipes, drains and other precast solutions.
The company is using the exhibition to demonstrate how quality precast products can support construction efficiency, shorten project timelines and enhance the durability of completed projects.
Visitors are also being introduced to the services of the Julius Berger Excellence Centre and the Group’s Facility Management operations, with specialists engaging stakeholders on property maintenance, facility management and technical support designed to preserve the performance and extend the lifespan of assets.
The international participation at Big 5 Construct Nigeria is adding another dimension to the exhibition, with companies from Europe, Kuwait and Asia presenting construction equipment, smart-building technologies, sustainable materials and digital solutions aimed at improving productivity and project delivery.
