Air Peace Limited has been crowned “Airline of the Year” at the maiden edition of the Nigeria International Air Show, held from December 2 to 4, 2025, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
The award, presented by Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, recognised Air Peace’s remarkable growth and transformative impact on Nigeria’s aviation sector.
Since its inception in 2014, Air Peace has evolved from a modest fleet to one of Africa’s most formidable carriers. With a modern fleet that includes Boeing 777 aircraft and Embraer 195-E2 jets, the airline has demonstrated its commitment to fleet modernisation and capacity expansion.
Air Peace’s route network has also expanded significantly, both domestically and internationally, with notable launches including its Lagos-London (Gatwick) service and a direct Abuja-London (Heathrow) flight, marking a major milestone for Nigerian aviation.
The “Airline of the Year” award acknowledged Air Peace’s current success and its role in reshaping Nigeria’s aviation landscape, expanding connectivity, and restoring national pride in local carrier capability.
As Air Peace continues to soar to new heights, this award solidifies its position as a leading airline in Africa, determined to connect the continent more robustly to the world.
