Le Look Nigeria Limited, the renowned manufacturer of Le Look Bags brands, is set to mark its 40th anniversary on October 1, 2025, at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.
The event, themed “Legacy of Resilience: Empowering Entrepreneurs for Africa’s Economic Future”, will feature morning and award night sessions, with over 300 distinguished guests expected to attend, including senior government officials, private sector leaders, development partners, and entrepreneurs.
Founded in 1985 by Chief Mrs. Chinwe Ezenwa, Le Look has grown from a small women-led business into a proudly Nigerian manufacturer, exporting unique, locally crafted bags to international markets. Over four decades, the company has stayed true to its mission of strengthening local manufacturing, creating jobs, and supporting Nigeria’s non-oil export drive and the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) agenda.
The anniversary celebration will include keynote addresses, fireside conversations with veteran entrepreneurs, panel sessions on business longevity, and exhibitions by government and trade agencies.
Ezenwa noted that the event is more than a celebration; “it’s a call to sustain entrepreneurship in Africa’s fast-changing economy”.
Le Look Nigeria Limited has become a global brand, with the Le Look Bags Academy built in Abuja, Enugu, and Lagos, providing training and skills transfer to individuals. The company has partnered international and government institutions to promote trade and build capacities for the continent.

Through its innovative approach and commitment to excellence, Le Look Nigeria Limited emerged the first Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) to receive the Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) certificate from the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
As a certified AEO, Lelook benefits from trade facilitation, reduced costs, and improved efficiency in its export and import activities, supporting Nigeria’s goal of becoming a leading trade hub.
Le Look Nigeria is No 0001 under the AFCFTA guided trade Initiative to receive the Certificate of Origin to trade across Africa.
