In a bid to showcase Nigeria’s leading hospitality and tourism destinations, ATQNews and Seven Wonders of Nigeria have commenced a comprehensive survey to identify the Top 100 Hotels in Lagos and Nigeria.

The survey, hosted by Naija7Wonders, also aims to rank top festivals, beaches, waterfalls, art galleries, and restaurants that are shaping Nigeria’s tourism industry.

To ensure broad participation, the research team is distributing survey forms to various hotels in Lagos, while online forms are being sent to hotels and tourism stakeholders across different states.

Hotels must have a minimum of 30 rooms to participate in the Lagos survey, while the nationwide survey requires hotels to have at least 100 rooms.

The initiative seeks to recognise hotels that consistently deliver exceptional service and hospitality excellence.

ATQNews and Seven Wonders of Nigeria have conducted several surveys on Nigeria’s leading tourism destinations, ranking attractions and establishments that drive local and international tourism.

This year’s focus is on identifying the best hotels while expanding the survey to include key cultural and leisure spots across the country.

The survey comes ahead of the 21st Akwaaba African Travel Market, scheduled to take place from September 14th to 16th, 2024, in Lagos, Nigeria.

Akwaaba, recognized as West Africa’s Largest Travel and Tourism Expo, serves as a strategic platform for networking, business development, and discussions shaping the future of Africa’s travel industry.

This year’s event promises to be bigger and better, featuring:

  • 11th Wonders of Nigeria Expo
  • 5th Aviation & Cargo Conference (CHINET)
  • 4th African Medical Tourism Expo
  • 9th African Youth Tourism Bantaba
  • 7th Jollof Rice War
  • African Tourism Conference

With double the audience, unlimited networking, and endless business opportunities, the 21st edition of Akwaaba promises to be the biggest yet.

Industry stakeholders, travel professionals, hoteliers, airlines, and government representatives will converge in Lagos to engage in high-level discussions, foster partnerships, and celebrate Africa’s growing influence in global tourism.

As the countdown begins, the ATQNews & Seven Wonders of Nigeria survey aims to capture insights from hospitality and tourism players, ensuring that the Top 100 Hotels and Attractions in Nigeria are recognized and celebrated.
