The League of Airport and Aviation Correspondents (LAAC) is set to host its 29th Annual Conference on August 7, 2025, at the Providence Hotel in Lagos, bringing together top aviation stakeholders to deliberate on “Aviation Financing in Nigeria: The Risks, Opportunities, and Prospects.”

This landmark gathering will provide a platform for policymakers, regulators, airline operators, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to address key challenges and prospects in the aviation sector.

The conference will feature the launch of a commemorative publication, “Celebrating Champions of Aviation Development,” recognising individuals and organisations that have advanced the aviation sector since 1999.

Chairman of the LAAC Conference Committee, Mr. Wole Shadare, emphasised that the conference is a platform for constructive dialogue and shaping the future of aviation in Nigeria through sustainable financing and investment models.

The event will cover critical issues, including airport infrastructure development, aircraft leasing, maintenance funding, aviation fuel supply, regulatory reforms, and insurance strategies. Leading Nigerian banks and financial institutions have confirmed their participation, and state governments, regulatory bodies, airlines, and service providers have pledged their support.

The LAAC Annual Conference has become a premier gathering for the aviation industry, shaping policy, spotlighting investment opportunities, and enhancing synergy among stakeholders.

The League reiterates its commitment to fostering dialogue, encouraging best practices, and celebrating champions of Nigeria’s aviation development journey.
