Since its inception in 2015, NUGI Technologies has grown from a humble beginning to become one of Nigeria’s most trusted technology partners for government and enterprises. Under NUGI Technologies’ partnership with the Cross River State Government, the state’s IGR has witnessed a significant transformation. Before NUGI’s involvement, the State’s annual IGR was around N19 billion. However, in just five months (August to December 2023), the State generated over N13 billion. In the 2024 fiscal year, the State generated over N46 billion.
The UAU Foundation, the philanthropic arm of NUGI Technologies, has been involved in various initiatives to support creatives and entrepreneurs in the State. Through its various challenges, the Foundation has empowered 108 winners with structured financial support, disbursing N44.35 million directly to entrepreneurs, small business owners, and creatives.
The Managing Director of NUGI Technologies, Augustine Ugi, expressed his delight in supporting young creatives and entrepreneurs in the State. “We are proud to be part of the Carnival Calabar celebration and to support the creative industry in our State.
