
Transport and logistics expert, Dr. Azeez Mustapha, has extended warm birthday felicitations to the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), CGC Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, MFR, commending his exemplary leadership, professionalism, and reform-driven stewardship of the Service.
Mustapha who is the Managing Principal of AZ Logistics Ltd, described CGC Adeniyi as a seasoned customs administrator and strategic reformer whose tenure has ushered in renewed efficiency, strengthened trade facilitation, and improved revenue performance for the nation.
According to him, Adeniyi’s emphasis on institutional discipline, capacity building, digitalisation of customs processes, and stakeholder engagement has repositioned the Nigeria Customs Service as a more responsive and modern trade regulator, while maintaining a firm stance against smuggling and economic sabotage.
