Emirates Airline, and Air Peace have activated a bilateral interline agreement that significantly boosts air connectivity between Africa, the UAE and the United Kingdom.

Building on their existing relationship, the enhanced partnership allows passengers of both airlines to enjoy frictionless, single-ticket travel with through-checked baggage across select routes, delivering greater comfort, convenience and flexibility.

In addition to the 13 Nigerian cities already accessible on Air Peace’s network for Emirates customers, the expanded agreement now opens connections to Banjul (The Gambia) and Dakar (Senegal) via Abidjan, as well as Freetown (Sierra Leone) and Monrovia (Liberia) via Accra. These new gateways enable more African travellers to access Emirates’ world-class products and vast global network.

Under the agreement, Air Peace integrates its extensive West and Central African routes into Emirates’ Dubai hub and key international destinations including London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Stansted, Abidjan, Accra and Lagos. With strong demand between Nigeria and the UK, the partnership provides Air Peace customers with greater choice, flexibility and global reach.

Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, said: “Enhancing our interline partnership with Air Peace expands our footprint across Africa and creates new opportunities for people to fly better with Emirates, while helping international tourists explore more of the region via Lagos.

“We remain committed to working with strategic partners such as Air Peace to strengthen Nigeria’s aviation, tourism and trade sectors”.

Air Peace Chief Commercial Officer, Nowel Ngala, added: “This interline agreement represents a major milestone in our vision to connect Africa more efficiently to global markets. By combining our strong regional presence with Emirates’ extensive international network, we are delivering seamless connectivity, improved travel experiences and greater access to key destinations for African travellers.

“The partnership reinforces Air Peace’s role as a critical bridge between Africa and the global aviation ecosystem”.

Emirates currently operates a Boeing 777-300ER on the Dubai–Lagos route, offering passengers premium inflight dining curated by award-winning chefs, over 6,500 entertainment channels on ice, including Nollywood titles, and one of the few First-Class cabins available into Nigeria, delivering exceptional comfort and privacy.

With a fleet of over 50 aircraft, including Boeing 777s, Boeing 737s and Embraer jets, Air Peace operates an expanding domestic, regional and international network, strengthening intra-African connectivity while supporting trade, tourism and economic development across the continent.

Tickets under the Emirates–Air Peace interline agreement are available on emirates.comflyairpeace.com, and through travel agents.
