The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has announced designated collection points for airport users seeking to obtain their Go-Cashless cards ahead of the March 1, 2026 transition deadline.

According to the Authority, the cards are now available for immediate collection at all FAAN commercial offices and access gates nationwide. In addition, designated branches of Fidelity Bank Plc will commence card distribution from March 16, 2026.

The move forms part of the federal government’s directive mandating all Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to adopt a fully cashless system. The policy is aimed at enhancing transparency, curbing revenue leakages, and strengthening transaction traceability across public institutions.

FAAN reaffirmed its commitment to full compliance with the directive and appealed to stakeholders and airport users for understanding and cooperation as the transition progresses.

The Authority further clarified that the Go-Cashless cards will remain available at the designated centres even after the March 1 deadline.

FAAN assured the travelling public that the initiative will foster faster, safer, and more convenient transactions across airports nationwide.
