As part of her six-point agenda on assumption of office as the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) less than two years ago, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku has trained and certified over 3,000 members of staff of the Authority.
A further commitment to human capacity is signing of a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ATOM Training Services, a world-class aviation training institute based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The strategic partnership aims to enhance the capacity and competence of FAAN personnel, particularly in safety-critical operations.
The MoU was signed on July 22, 2025, in Dubai, between FAAN’s Director of Human Resources and Administration, Dr. Luqman Olatunbosun, and the General & Accountable Manager at ATOM, Abdulla Almemari.

Through this collaboration, FAAN personnel will benefit from globally benchmarked training that supports the Authority’s commitment to safe, secure, and efficient airport operations. The partnership further reflects FAAN’s proactive investment in capacity building and aviation excellence, aligning with Kuku’s six-point agenda.
Since assuming office, Kuku’s administration has facilitated training and certification for over 3,000 staff members, reaffirming her commitment to staff development, safety, and operational excellence.
This new partnership is expected to elevate staff efficiency, foster organisational growth, and solidify FAAN’s relevance on the global aviation stage.
