Bricks Mursten Mattoni Ltd is set to participate in the upcoming London International Shipping Week (LISW) 2025, a premier global event for the shipping industry.

The company will showcase Nigeria’s achievements in maritime security, trade facilitation, and sectoral reforms to a global audience.

Scheduled from September 15 to 19, 2025, LISW 2025 attracts policymakers, regulators, shipowners, financiers, and maritime technology experts from over 70 countries. Bricks Mursten Mattoni’s participation aims to highlight Nigeria’s maritime progress, particularly in addressing Gulf of Guinea security challenges and positioning the country as a competitive shipping hub.

CEO Emmanuel Maiguwa Gankino will represent the company, engaging participants, sharing industry insights, and exploring international collaboration opportunities. “This platform gives us an opportunity to tell Nigeria’s story, showcase progress made in maritime safety and regulation, and deepen international partnerships that will enhance the sector’s competitiveness”, Gankino said.

The event offers Nigeria a chance to present its case for investment and fairer treatment in the international shipping market, while pushing for reforms and highlighting empirical data on improved security in its waters.

Other Nigerian organisations participating in LISW 2025 include BA Ports Services Ltd, Maritime Security Providers Association of Nigeria (MASPAN), and Alumni of the Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron (AMANO).
