The National President of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), High Chief Fwdr. Hon. Tochukwu Ezisi, has called on freight forwarders across the country to uphold professionalism, regulatory compliance, and unity as the association enters the new year.

In his New Year message to members of the association, Ezisi said the year presents fresh opportunities to strengthen the freight forwarding profession, expand its influence, and improve industry standards nationwide.

Reflecting on the previous year, the NAGAFF President acknowledged the challenges faced by practitioners but commended members for their resilience, unity, and unwavering commitment to the core values of the association.

According to him, professionalism remains the foundation of trust, reputation, and long-term success in the freight forwarding business, stressing that strict adherence to regulations is a collective responsibility that guarantees transparency and integrity in industry operations.

Ezisi also encouraged members to adopt innovative and disciplined business practices capable of driving revenue growth, noting that increased earnings would benefit not only individual businesses but also the freight forwarding sector as a whole.

“As we strive to grow revenue, it is important that we do so with innovation, discipline, and a shared commitment to building a stronger and more prosperous industry”, he said.

The NAGAFF President expressed optimism that the new year would bring greater opportunities, divine favour, and blessings to members, adding that the association would continue to position itself as a leading voice in the maritime and logistics industries.

He urged members to work together to strengthen relationships within the association and with key stakeholders in the sector, stressing that collective effort remains critical to achieving shared goals.

Ezisi concluded by wishing all members and their families a peaceful, prosperous, and rewarding New Year, reaffirming his confidence in NAGAFF’s capacity to achieve greater milestones in the months ahead.
