The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) has received a certificate for its Air Traffic Control (ATC) simulator from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

The certificate was presented to NAMA’s Managing Director/Chief Executive, Engr. Farouk Umar, by the NCAA Director of Air Traffic Control, Mr. John Tayo.

The achievement is a result of collaborative efforts between NAMA’s local management at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport and the Department of Technical Evaluation and Manpower Development.

Umar expressed excitement and commended the efforts that led to the successful certification.

The ATC simulator is expected to enhance manpower development, improve operational efficiency, and ensure safer skies within Nigeria’s airspace.

This development marks a significant step towards advancing aviation training and sustaining global best practices in air traffic management.
