Overland Airways has announced the recommencement of flight services from Samuel Ladoke Akintola International Airport, Ibadan to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. 

The flights will operate three times a week, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, starting December 23, 2025. Departure times according to the airline are 10:30 a.m. from Abuja to Ibadan and 12:00 p.m. from Ibadan to Abuja.

The airline’s Chief Operating Officer, Mrs. Aderonke Emmanuel-James, expressed excitement about returning to Ibadan, commending the Oyo State Government for the airport’s extensive improvement works. 

Overland Airways will use its brand new 88-seater Embraer 175 aircraft, featuring Premium and Economy cabins, to operate the route.

Emmanuel-James assured customers of reliable and consistent flight services, highlighting the airline’s 22-year history of providing excellent services to the people of Ibadan, Oyo State, and Osun State. The airline had previously operated on this route and is resuming after the airport’s upgrade.
