United Nigeria Airlines has confirmed that two passengers—Martins Vincent Otse (“VeryDarkman”) and Freedom Okpetoritse Atsepoyi (“Mr. Jollof”) were deboarded from Flight UN0523 at Asaba International Airport on the morning of November 17, 2025 following an onboard altercation during boarding.
According to a statement from the airline’s Public Relations Officer, Chibuike Uloka, the crew acted immediately and professionally to contain the disturbance, in line with global aviation safety standards.
To ensure the safety, comfort, and security of all other passengers and crew, both individuals involved in the altercation were promptly removed from the aircraft and handed over to airport security for further investigation.
“United Nigeria Airlines maintains a zero-tolerance policy for unruly conduct and prioritises the well-being of everyone on board. With all safety protocols fully observed, Flight UN0523 departed as scheduled while the involved passengers remained with the authorities.
“We reaffirm our commitment to providing a safe, respectful, and secure travel experience across our network”, the statement read in part.
