SIFAX Group has made a significant impact on the lives of 3,500 vulnerable individuals in Nigeria through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives between July and August 2025.

Through its NGO, the Ajoke Ayisat Afolabi Foundation (AAAF), and partnerships with other organisations, the company supported 3,083 people in July, including widows, children, voluntary returnees, and people with disabilities.

The initiatives included healthcare support for 639 people in Lagos, Isade, and Zaria, as well as vocational training for 1,398 women, girls, and boys in various skills such as crocheting, tailoring, shoemaking, and bag-making. Additionally, the Foundation facilitated training for petty traders ahead of an interest-free loans scheme, empowered traders in Zaria, and provided a borehole for a community in Lagos.

In August, SIFAX Group partnered NIDSMET Services to sponsor the skill acquisition training of 500 youths in Lagos, equipping them with skills in confectionery, catering, textile design, photography, cosmetics, event management, and more.

The company’s commitment to philanthropy and creating sustainable pathways for economic growth was emphasised by the Group Head, Corporate Communications, Mr. Olumuyiwa Akande, who stated that SIFAX Group measures success not just by business achievements but by the lives they touch and the opportunities they create.

The Managing Director of NIDSMET Services, Mr. Olabiyi Oluwole, praised SIFAX Group for its continued support of the programme, noting that it has produced successful entrepreneurs who have become job creators.

The AAAF Coordinator, Foluke Ademokun, reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to providing support for disadvantaged groups nationwide, with a focus on eradicating poverty and delivering sustainable solutions to Nigeria’s most pressing challenges.
