Stakeholders across Nigeria’s transportation industry will gather on October 29, 2025, at The Providence Hotel, GRA, Ikeja, for the inaugural transport summit hosted by JustAlive Communications Limited, publishers of JustNet News. 

The summit, themed “Nigeria’s Transport Infrastructure: Innovation For A Sustainable Future”, will focus on the pressing issues affecting the nation’s transport infrastructure and explore innovative strategies for improvement.

According to the Managing Director of JustAlive Communications Limited, Mrs. Pearl Ngwama, “this summit will provide a platform for experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to share knowledge, best industry practices and standards, and proffer solutions to address the challenges facing Nigeria’s transport infrastructure”.

She added, “the summit will bring together experts, professionals, and policymakers from various transportation modes, including aviation, maritime, waterways, rail, and road, to have a holistic look at the nation’s transport sector”.

Ngwama emphasised the economic importance of the summit, stating, “Transportation is a catalyst to the development of every economy considering its importance and enormous contributions to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the global economy”.

Nigeria’s transport infrastructure continues to grapple with significant challenges such as inadequate funding, poor maintenance, and lack of coordinated planning. 

The summit will explore ways to overcome these barriers and accelerate infrastructure development.

By convening sector leaders and encouraging the exchange of knowledge and best practices, the summit seeks to advance a more sustainable, efficient, and innovative transport system that supports Nigeria’s economic goals.
