United Nigeria Airlines has announced its official admission into the International Air Transport Association Clearing House (ICH), a development that marks a significant step in the airline’s integration into the global aviation financial system.

Effective for transactions originating from February 1, 2026, the airline has joined a network of international carriers that utilise the ICH platform for secure and efficient financial settlements.

The membership enables United Nigeria Airlines to process and settle interline billings—including passenger and cargo transactions—through a centralised and globally recognised settlement system.

According to the airline, the admission underscores its commitment to international best practices, financial transparency, and operational efficiency within the aviation industry.

Although membership in the ICH primarily facilitates seamless financial settlement between airlines, the carrier noted that it also lays the groundwork for its broader expansion strategy, particularly in establishing interline and codeshare partnerships with other global airlines.

United Nigeria Airlines said the milestone aligns with its vision of enhancing connectivity and delivering world-class services to passengers as it continues to expand its regional and international operations.
