ValueJet has announced a launch of Lagos–Accra–Lagos service, with the inaugural flight scheduled for March 30, 2026, as the airline advances its regional expansion drive.
Flights will depart daily from the new terminal at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 8:00 a.m., while return flights from Accra are slated for 9:00 a.m. Passengers can now book via the airline’s website.
The new route follows the successful launch of ValueJet’s first international service to Banjul, The Gambia, and forms part of a broader expansion plan that includes additional regional destinations such as Cotonou and Malabo.
Managing Director of ValueJet, Capt. Omololu Majekodunmi, described the Accra route as a key milestone in the airline’s vision to provide seamless and affordable connectivity across the West African corridor.
To support its growing operations, the airline recently expanded its fleet with the addition of CRJ-1000 aircraft, aimed at strengthening both regional and domestic services.

Majekodunmi expressed enthusiasm about the development, noting that the new route marks a significant step in extending ValueJet’s network beyond Nigeria into the African continent.
He added that the Lagos–Accra service is expected to boost tourism, trade, and economic ties between Nigeria and Ghana, while offering travellers a reliable and efficient travel experience.
As part of its expansion, ValueJet said passengers can look forward to promotional offers, competitive fares, and special packages designed to make the route more attractive.
With its growing reputation for quality service and collaboration with the Ghana Airports Company Limited, the airline aims to deliver a seamless and enhanced travel experience for passengers across the region.
