Air Peace Limited has strengthened its operational capacity with the arrival of its third Embraer 190 aircraft, further positioning the airline to meet increased passenger demand during the festive season and beyond.

The Embraer 190-100 Advanced Range (AR) aircraft, bearing registration 5N-CFM, landed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 3:13 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, marking another milestone in the airline’s ongoing fleet expansion and modernisation programme.

Configured to seat 99 passengers, the aircraft offers 11 Business Class seats and 88 Economy Class seats, combining efficiency with passenger comfort. Its arrival makes it the third Embraer 190 inducted into the Air Peace fleet within five months, a clear indication of the airline’s readiness to scale operations during Nigeria’s busiest travel period.

Built for performance and sustainability, the Embraer 190 AR is equipped with fuel-efficient engines that deliver lower carbon emissions, aligning with Air Peace’s commitment to environmentally responsible operations.

The cabin is designed for comfort and convenience, featuring a one to two seating layout in Business Class for added privacy and a 2-2 configuration in Economy Class, eliminating middle seats. Passengers also enjoy generous legroom, a quieter cabin environment, and in-seat power outlets to support work and leisure while in flight.

Commenting on the development, Air Peace Spokesperson, Mr. Osifo-Whiskey Efe, described the aircraft’s arrival as both strategic and timely.

“We are delighted to welcome this advanced aircraft into our ever-expanding fleet. The Embraer 190 AR is a modern, efficient, and passenger-friendly aircraft that aligns perfectly with our operational goals.

“Our focus remains clear: easing the burden of air travel across Nigeria, Africa and beyond, while offering seamless connectivity and services that meet the expectations of today’s traveller,” Efe said.

He explained that the new aircraft will support additional flight frequencies on key domestic and regional routes, especially during the festive season, improving schedule reliability, connectivity, and capacity on high-traffic corridors.

For passengers, the additional aircraft means more available seats, greater scheduling flexibility, and an enhanced travel experience at a time when family reunions, business travel and tourism peak nationwide. It also reflects Air Peace’s strategy of deploying right-sized aircraft capable of efficiently serving both busy and underserved routes without compromising service quality.

With a rapidly expanding and diverse fleet, Air Peace continues to set the pace in Nigeria’s aviation sector, distinguished by bold fleet investments, network growth and capacity expansion. The induction of the third Embraer 190 further underscores the airline’s vision to connect communities, deepen regional integration, and redefine air travel across Africa.

As the festive season gathers momentum, Air Peace remains well-positioned to deliver smooth and reliable travel experiences, powered by modern aircraft, strategic planning, and a steadfast commitment to passenger satisfaction.
