Versat Automobile Limited is set to introduce EXEED, the premium automotive brand of Chery Automobile, to the Nigerian market in December 2026, marking the brand’s entry into the country’s growing premium mobility segment.

The launch will bring EXEED’s blend of advanced technology, distinctive design and contemporary driving experience to Nigerian motorists, under its “Born for More” philosophy, which targets consumers seeking experiences beyond the ordinary.

According to Versat, EXEED was developed around the principles of intelligent technology, sophisticated design and exceptional driving experiences, drawing on Chery Automobile’s extensive research and development capabilities.

The company said the brand is positioned at the intersection of premium design, intelligent mobility and performance, an offering it believes will appeal to Nigeria’s increasingly discerning automotive market.

General Manager, Sales, Versat Automobile Limited, Christopher Irumudomon, described the forthcoming launch as a significant development for the country’s premium automotive sector.

“The arrival of EXEED represents an exciting new chapter for premium mobility in Nigeria”, Irumudomon said.

“We are looking forward to introducing Nigerians to a brand that challenges convention, embraces exploration, and is truly Born for More”.

Ahead of the December launch, Versat said it would unveil more information about EXEED, including its technology, design philosophy and performance capabilities.

The company added that the brand’s Nigerian introduction would be anchored on its “Spirit of Exploration”, reflecting EXEED’s focus on intelligent technology, distinctive design and a forward-looking approach to premium mobility.

EXEED is Chery Automobile’s premium automotive brand, created to deliver sophisticated vehicles that combine advanced automotive technology with distinctive styling and enhanced driving experiences.

Versat Automobile Limited, meanwhile, was established in 2024 as a Nigerian automotive company focused on reliable, value-driven mobility solutions tailored to local market needs.

The company made its Nigerian market debut in 2026 with C&C Trucks, with its operations centred on performance, durability, quality, reliability and customer support.

With the arrival of EXEED, Versat is seeking to strengthen its presence in Nigeria’s automotive market while introducing a new premium mobility proposition to consumers.
