President General of MWUN, Comrade Francis Abi

The President General of the Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Comrade Francis Abi, has extended heartfelt greetings to Muslims globally as they observe the holy month of Ramadan. 

In his message, Abi emphasised Ramadan as a period of introspection, seeking forgiveness, and renewing ties with family, community, and government.

He noted the challenges of insecurity and crimes against humanity affecting Nigeria and the world, urging prayer for peace and progress. He highlighted the importance of the Marine and Blue Economy in driving national growth and encouraged solidarity and respect among Nigerians, regardless of tribe, religion, or status.

Abi prayed for a peaceful Nigeria and world, believing in God’s power to solve problems. 

He wished Muslims in Nigeria and worldwide a blessed Ramadan season.
