Air Peace, has taken another major step toward operational excellence by strengthening its partnership with renowned aviation training organisation, Dutch Aviation Trainers (DAT), in a move aimed at enhancing crew training efficiency and global standards compliance.

The strategic meeting, held on May 21, 2026, at the airline’s corporate headquarters in Lagos, brought together top executives from both organisations to advance discussions on pilot training programmes – particularly for Air Peace’s Boeing 737 Next Generation (NG) fleet.

Building on an already established relationship, DAT currently oversees the training of Air Peace pilots on the Embraer E1 and E2 aircraft, reinforcing the airline’s focus on technical competence and superior flight operations.

Dutch Aviation Trainers, widely recognised as a top-tier Aviation Training Organisation (ATO), provides specialised type-rating programmes and advanced pilot training courses for Boeing and Embraer aircraft. The organisation has an impressive global footprint, having trained pilots for major carriers such as KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and AMAS Airlines Uruguay.

Speaking during the engagement, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace reiterated the airline’s strong commitment to continuous investment in human capital, safety, and capacity development. He emphasised that sustained training remains central to achieving world-class operational performance across the airline’s expanding fleet and route network.

The DAT delegation, led by Founder and CEO Captain Paul Ten Hof alongside senior representative Herman, engaged Air Peace leadership in productive discussions focused on deepening collaboration and unlocking future training opportunities.

This partnership underscores Air Peace’s strategic drive to maintain a highly skilled workforce while aligning with international aviation best practices – ensuring safe, reliable, and top-quality service delivery across its domestic, regional, and international operations.
