As part of its ongoing expansion strategy, Air Peace has taken delivery of another Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft, reinforcing its capacity to meet rising passenger demand across domestic and regional routes.

The newly acquired aircraft, registered as 5N-CGD, arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Sunday, May 24, 2026, marking a fresh milestone in the airline’s fleet growth and modernisation drive.

Configured with 189 Economy Class seats, the Boeing 737-800 NG offers enhanced passenger comfort alongside improved operational efficiency. Known for its reliability, the aircraft features a spacious cabin, ample overhead storage, advanced avionics, modern safety systems, and fuel-efficient engines – making it a mainstay in global narrow-body aviation.

Beyond passenger experience, the aircraft delivers key operational benefits, including reduced fuel consumption and lower emissions, aligning with the airline’s commitment to cost-efficient and environmentally responsible operations. Its range and flexibility will also support optimized route deployment and improved schedule reliability across Air Peace’s expanding network.

For travellers, the addition translates to increased seat availability, better connectivity, and more convenient travel options across key destinations. It reflects the airline’s continued focus on deploying the right aircraft mix while upholding high standards of safety, comfort, and service.

Air Peace operates one of Africa’s most diverse fleets, including Boeing 777s, Boeing 737s, Embraer jets, Dornier aircraft, and Airbus helicopters, serving a wide network of domestic, regional, and international routes.

With this latest addition, the airline strengthens its mission to connect people and businesses while advancing its ambition of positioning Nigeria as a leading aviation hub in Africa.
