Furtherance to its plans to deepen its presence in the Nigerian market, Jetour Nigeria is taking its X70 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) to Abuja in a bid to expand its customer engagement drive.

The X70 PHEV will headline the Jetour Experience Abuja, scheduled for September 22 to 24, 2026, following the success of the brand’s Lagos edition earlier in the year.

The three-day event will give motorists and prospective buyers in the Federal Capital Territory and neighbouring states an opportunity to experience the X70 PHEV and other Jetour models through test drives and direct engagement with product specialists.

According to Jetour Nigeria, the decision to take the showcase to Abuja followed growing interest in its vehicles among consumers in the capital and surrounding states.

Visitors to the event will have the opportunity to experience the X70 PHEV’s hybrid technology, safety features and interior comfort, while gaining first-hand knowledge of the vehicle’s performance and operating systems.

The X70 PHEV combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with a 19.43kWh battery and a dedicated hybrid transmission, with the configuration designed to balance performance with fuel efficiency.

The vehicle supports fast charging, slow charging, engine charging and regenerative braking, giving owners multiple options for managing the battery and reducing reliance on external charging infrastructure.

Five-Year Warranty

To strengthen buyer confidence, Jetour Nigeria, the country’s sole authorised distributor, offers the X70 PHEV a five-year or 150,000-kilometre warranty.

The distributor has also established an accredited dealer network across the country, comprising Elizade Nigeria Limited, New Era Auto Vehicle Services Limited, Kojo Motors, Germaine Auto Centre, TAB Autos Limited, R.T. Briscoe Motors and Mandilas Autos.

The Abuja showcase forms part of Jetour’s broader strategy to increase consumer awareness and engagement as the brand expands its footprint in Nigeria.

The company said its vehicles have attracted private and corporate patronage, with competitive pricing, specification levels and an expanding service network contributing to its market appeal.

Jetour was recognised as the “Fastest Growing Auto Brand of the Year” at the 2024 Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA) Awards.

With the X70 PHEV taking centre stage in Abuja, the automaker is positioning the three-day experience as another opportunity to bring its products and hybrid technology closer to Nigerian consumers while strengthening its growing presence in the market.
