The President of the Badagry Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (BACCIMA), Alhaji Yahaya Idris, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim community on the joyous occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
In his message, he emphasised the importance of peace, love, and unity among all people, urging Muslims to uphold the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He noted that adherence to these divine principles would foster a more harmonious and beautiful world.
Idris also highlighted the shared heritage of humanity, stressing that religious differences should not divide people. He pointed out that both Islam and Christianity trace their origins to the same patriarch, illustrating that interpretations may differ, but the essence of faith remains universal.
As the voice of business in the Lagos-Abidjan corridor, BACCIMA remains committed to economic development. The President therefore took the opportunity to pray for the economic recovery of Nigeria and called on all citizens to offer fervent prayers for President Bola Tinubu.
He expressed hope that Almighty Allah would grant the President wisdom and strength to navigate the nation towards prosperity.
Idris concluded his message with prayers for continued blessings, favor, and success for all in the year 2025 and beyond.
