The Chairman of SIFAX Group, Barr. Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, and Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO) PLC were both honoured with prestigious awards at 14th Nigeria Aviation (NIGAV) Awards and Ministerial Dinner.
At the event held in Lagos on Friday April 11, 2025, Afolabi was honoured with the ‘Aviation Industry Investor’s Award SAHCO PLC, a subsidiary of the SIFAX Group received the ‘Aircraft Handling Service Achievement Award’.
The NIGAV Awards, recognised as Nigeria’s most prestigious air transport award, celebrate excellence in the aviation industry.
According to Founder and Convener of the NIGAV Awards, Mr. Fortune Idu, the initiative aims to foster industry harmony, encourage healthy competition, and inspire safer and more sustainable air service delivery across the country.
Udu lauded Afolabi for his transformational investments in ground handling services in aviation Industry and Tourism, noting that his contributions have led to the establishment of one of the best ground handling companies in Africa and his foot print is all over marine , aviation, transportation, hospitality and tourism industries.
