Air Peace Limited marked Valentine’s Day with a grand gesture of appreciation to its premium customers, unveiling its state-of-the-art Executive Lounge at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Terminal 2 (MMIA2) on February 14, 2026.
More than a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, the launch symbolised the airline’s deepened commitment to comfort, excellence, and the continuous enhancement of premium travel across its growing domestic, regional, and long-haul network.

The milestone event attracted top management and staff of the airline, members of the media, and distinguished First and Business Class passengers on its flagship London route. Among the notable guests was former Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency Peter Obi, who joined in celebrating what many described as another defining moment in the airline’s expansion story.
Designed to redefine the pre-flight experience, the Executive Lounge offers an atmosphere of refined elegance, blending modern sophistication with privacy and comfort. Styled in calming cream tones, the facility accommodates over 39 guests and features six ergonomically designed recliner chairs to ensure optimal relaxation before departure.

To meet the needs of business travellers, the lounge includes a fully equipped workspace with computer monitors and printing facilities. Two private suites, fitted with tablets and headphones, provide a serene environment for virtual meetings or personal entertainment. An expansive entertainment area with a large-screen television complements a well-stocked bar serving pastries, soft drinks, and a curated range of beverages.
Passengers also enjoy access to an interactive display system offering real-time flight updates, company information, and product highlights, all within a facility secured by a 24-hour, 360-degree surveillance system for enhanced safety and peace of mind.

Speaking at the unveiling, Air Peace’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Nowel Ngala, described the lounge as a strategic investment aimed at strengthening customer satisfaction and reinforcing the airline’s brand positioning. He emphasised that the facility reflects Air Peace’s resolve to deliver world-class services comparable to global benchmarks, while appreciating the loyalty of its premium passengers.
In his remarks, Obi commended the airline for its innovation-driven approach and commitment to service excellence, noting that bold investments by indigenous carriers play a vital role in elevating Nigeria’s aviation profile on the international stage.

With the launch of its Executive Lounge, Air Peace has once again demonstrated its forward-looking vision.
For its premium travellers, the facility represents more than comfort; it embodies prestige, seamless service, and a refined beginning to every journey.
