25 years old indigene of Osun State, Ogunyemi Oluwajoba, who goes with the stage name, Demigod has won the just concluded Popularity Test, a pre-qualification voting process in choosing Housemates for Season 2 of the Nigerian Maritime Ambassadors (NIMA) Reality TV Show. 

This is even as the organisers have unveiled 30 contestants who have now qualified as Housemates for Season 2 of the maritime industry Reality TV Show.

Demigod, a graduate of Mass Communication took a very distant lead in week 3 voting results, and also won the three weeks Popularity Test contest with a cumulative 44 per cent of votes. 

Whereas Kanu Chibuike Peter, aka, Hugoboss, a 27 year old indigene of Anambra State and graduate of Accountancy came second with a cumulative 33 per cent of votes, while Bature Emmanuella, popularly known as Embajuesoul, a 22 year old indigene of Niger State came third with a cumulative 32 per cent of votes respectively for the three weeks voting exercise. 

Other contestants who also qualified as Housemates for the Season 2 are Emmy, Zudo, Phonix, Dtriggerson, Sunnysax, Romeofred, Babawonder, Rossy, Y.F.S, Jaftjay, Pudoh and Oldboy.

Others include: Anny, Elvislaw, Icon, Isaackim, Blackhoney, Dosman, Jimmy, Elese, Drii, Silverbankz, Razmanlee, Freshy-p, Lilbliss, Richy and Jubilant.

In a press statement issued on Tuesday by Platforms Communications, organisers and promoters of the show, revealed that by winning the Popularity Contest, Demigod would become the first Head of House in NIMA Season 2, while Hugoboss who came second would become the first Head of Kitchen Cabinet, whereas Embajuesoul who came third would become the first Deputy Head of House.

According to the Organisers, “these top three Housemates would occupy these respective positions for the first three days  pending when the first Head of House Game or Task would be conducted in the NIMA House for a new set of House leaders to emerge.

Recall that NIMA Reality TV Show is a Maritime Industry youth empowerment initiative designed to discover, develop and promote young and talented Nigerians who are willing to use their talents and skills to drive positive changes in the society. 

NIMA Season 2 is slated to begin on Sunday, September 24 and end with a Grand Finale on October 23, 2023. And the winner would bag a 10 million naira worth of deals, including a one year endorsement deal as the Nigeria Maritime Ambassador.
