The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has commended maritime stakeholders for their cooperation and support, assuring that the agency is poised to deliver stronger outcomes for Nigeria’s maritime sector in 2026.
In an end-of-year message, the NIMASA boss expressed appreciation to industry operators, partners, and stakeholders for their unwavering collaboration throughout 2025, noting that their contributions were instrumental to the progress recorded in the sector.
According to him, 2025 was a landmark year for Nigeria’s maritime industry, characterised by significant achievements and renewed confidence from the international maritime community.
He stated that NIMASA remains committed to consolidating these gains in the coming year, with a renewed focus on improving safety, regulation, and overall sector performance for the benefit of the nation.
