All roads tomorrow July 4, 2024 lead to Golfview Hotels, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos for the launch of a book titled ‘Nigeria’s  Aviation Sector: People, Behaviours Behind The Performances,’ authored by Albinus Chiedu, a journalist from Aviation Monitor.

Project Coordinator, Aviation Monitor, Mrs. Okiemute Chiedu, in a statement said the event scheduled to start at 11:00 hrs has the Minister of Aviation & Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo, as the Special Guest of Honour at while several key stakeholders in Nigeria’s aviation industry are expected to grace the public presentation.

The Chairman of Air Peace, Dr. Allen Onyema, is to chair the book launch as the chief launcher while the Chairman of Interguide Group, Dr. Gbenga Olowo, is the co-launcher.

Expected guests of honour include the Acting Director General, Civil Aviation (DG NCAA), Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Capt. Chris Najomo; Managing Director/CE of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, Managing Director of Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Engr. Farouk Umar, Chairman, Bi-courtney Aviation Services Limited, Dr. Wale Babalakin, Managing Director of  SAHCO Plc, Mrs. Adenike Aboderin, Group Managing Director of NAHCO, Mr. Indira Gupta, and many other dignitaries who are expected to grace the book launch.

The book is to be reviewed by Dr. Richard Aisuebeogun, former Managing Director/CE of FAAN.

The 11-chapter book is a product of comprehensive research, featuring from a historical perspective, an advocacy for the right behaviours and conduct of individuals in both the public and private segments of Nigeria’s aviation industry, exposing the dangers posed by wrong decisions and actions on the next generation of aviation stakeholders in the country.
