Aviation & Aerospace Minister, Keyamo.

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo,has highlighted Nigeria’s commitment to a comprehensive transition from fossil fuels to low-emission fuel across all sectors of the economy.

Keyamo was speaking at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP 28 UAE) in Dubai where he represented Mr. President, Bola Tinubu. 

Delivering a pivotal presentation at the African Pavilion during the conference, the minister in a moment of privilege and honour, officially launched Nigeria’s Long-Term Low Emission Development Strategy.

This document serves as a testament to the nation’s unwavering dedication to achieving sustainable and environmentally responsible practices.

The event marked a significant milestone in Nigeria’s pursuit of a low-carbon future. 

The Minister expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to global climate efforts and thanked all involved for their support in this crucial initiative.
