The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO Aviance), has announced the signing of multiple new and renewed ground handling contracts with leading international and regional airlines.

In a statement released after the public holidays, NAHCO confirmed the renewalof long-standing contracts with major European carriers Air France, KLM and Virgin Atlantic, as well as African airline RwandAir. The company also secured new ground handling agreements with United Nigeria (Regional), Bellagio Air and Malaikair.

The renewed contracts with Air France and KLM will run for three years, extending operations through 2028, while Virgin Atlantic’s renewed agreement is also for a three-year term. The RwandAir contract spans three years and takes effect from October 1, 2025.

Among the newly signed agreements, United Nigeria (Regional) has committed to a five-year contract effective August 1, 2025. Bellagio Air signed a three-year agreement, while Malaikair entered into a five-year contract with NAHCO.

Bellagio Air, a fast-growing Nigerian airline headquartered in Ikeja, Lagos, is positioning itself as a premium carrier, offering a blend of luxury, efficiency and reliability across key domestic and regional routes. Malaikair, on the other hand, is a customer-focused regional airline dedicated to providing affordable and convenient air travel, while strengthening connectivity between Africa and the Caribbean.

Reacting to the development, NAHCO’s Group Executive Director, Commercial & Business Development, Prince Saheed Lasisi, expressed delight at the new and renewed partnerships, assuring clients of exceptional service delivery.

Also commenting, the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NAHCO Plc, Mr. Olumuyiwa Olumekun, noted that the company’s ongoing deployment of new ground handling equipment would further enhance service quality across all operations.
