The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) has approved a technical presentation by Tantita Security Services Limited (TSSL) for its 2026 edition, marking a major milestone for the Nigerian security firm as it takes its drone-based offshore surveillance innovation to a global stage.

Scheduled to take place in Houston, Texas, next year, the lecture will spotlight Tantita’s use of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) to monitor and protect Nigeria’s offshore oil and gas platforms. The company said the session will demonstrate how advanced drone operations are transforming maritime security and resource protection in the Gulf of Guinea.

Confirming the development, the Executive Director of Technical and Operations at Tantita,  Captain Dr. Warredi Enisuoh, said the approval by OTC reflects growing international recognition of the company’s technological advances and operational achievements.

“This is a proud moment for us and for Nigeria”, Enisuoh said. “It shows that the global energy community is paying attention to homegrown innovations that are reshaping offshore security and environmental safety”.

Tantita’s upcoming presentation will focus on real-time surveillance, threat detection, and collaborative security frameworks for offshore installations — topics that align with OTC 2026’s broader emphasis on digitalisation, sustainability, and cross-sector innovation in the energy industry.

The Offshore Technology Conference remains one of the world’s leading gatherings for energy professionals, attracting thousands of engineers, policymakers, researchers, and investors.

The 2026 edition is expected to highlight cutting-edge technologies that enhance safety, efficiency, and environmental stewardship across the offshore sector.
