The newly re-elected President of the National Air Traffic Communicators Association of Nigeria (NACAN), Alhaji Rabiu Sani, has assured members of continued transparency and better representation in his second tenure.
Just as he acknowledged challenges and progress in the first tenure
Sani, who made this known in his acceptance speech after being sworn in for the second time as NACAN President, said the challenges were surmounted, stating that this time around all members from the 26 chapters across the country will have a say in the association.
He explained that NACAN planned a review of its constitution to allow for wider consultations.
Sani added that the executives will ensure transparency in all financial dealings and commended members for their support during their first tenure.
His words: “For the first time in NACAN’s history, this Annual General Meeting is being conducted without any debt.
“Every activity, every event, and every initiative has been fully funded by our own resources.
“This prudent financial management ensures that the incoming executives can assume their roles without the burden of inherited liabilities or fear of legal complications.”
