
The League of Aviation and Airport Correspondents (LAAC) has honoured the Chairman of Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO) PLC, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, with the prestigious Aviation Visionary Investment Award at the 29th Annual LAAC Conference in Lagos.
This year’s conference, themed “Financing Aviation in Nigeria: Risks, Opportunities and Prospects”, brought together key stakeholders, policymakers, and industry experts to discuss the future of Nigeria’s aviation industry.
LAAC Chairman, Mr. Idris Sulaiman, praised Afolabi as a trailblaser in the ground handling sector, highlighting his pivotal role in establishing SAHCO, which has become one of Africa’s leading ground handling companies. Head of Corporate Communications at SAHCO, Vanessa Uansohia, accepted the award on Afolabi’s behalf, expressing gratitude to LAAC for the recognition.
