Gateway Air, the Ogun State-owned airline, has announced the launch of new flight operations connecting key cities across Nigeria, in a strategic move to boost connectivity and ease domestic travel.
The development was disclosed in a statement issued over the weekend by the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to Governor Dapo Abiodun, Hon. Kayode Akinmade.
According to the statement, the airline will commence scheduled services from Monday, April 13, 2026, covering the following routes: Iperu–Abuja, Abuja–Port Harcourt, Abuja–Calabar, Abuja–Jos, and Iperu–Kano.
The flights will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, offering passengers flexible and reliable travel options. Economy class fares are pegged from as low as ₦100,000, positioning the airline as a competitive player in Nigeria’s domestic aviation market.
The new routes are expected to significantly improve regional accessibility, stimulate economic activities, and strengthen intercity connections across the country.
Passengers are advised to book early and stay updated via the airline’s official communication channels for schedules and further information.
Gateway Air reaffirmed its commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and customer-centric air travel services nationwide.
