The title was conferred on Musa by the Emir of Kontagora, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Barau Mu’azu II, who commended his sustained efforts to improve the welfare of residents and promote the development of the emirate.

The Emir cited Musa’s interventions in youth empowerment, philanthropic activities, scholarship awards to indigent students and support for community development projects as key reasons for the honour.

He noted that Musa’s commitment to the progress of Kontagora had earned him the recognition of the traditional institution.

An academic, political scientist, researcher, author and public administrator, Musa has built a career spanning teaching, educational administration, legislative and local government service, institutional management, public affairs and consumer protection.

His professional experience combines academic scholarship, public-sector leadership and institutional engagement.
