The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has expressed its readiness to partner International Air Transport Association (IATA) in providing training and retraining for its workforce.

Acting Director General Nigeria Civil Aviation (Ag. DGCA), Capt. Chris Najomo, made this known during a strategic meeting with leadership of IATA led by its Regional Vice President for Africa & Middle East, Mr. Kamil Al-Awadhi, on Tuesday 14th October, 2024 at the Authority’s Headquarters in Abuja.

Among the top priorities discussed were delivering on core mandatory requirement as Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), cost-recovery, head cost, ticket cost and provision of both IATA and International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) training and retraining for the staff.
