SAGLEV Electromobility Company Limited, Nigeria’s premier electric vehicle (EV) assembler and manufacturer, is set to receive two high-profile visits to its state-of-the-art EV Assembly and Manufacturing facility in Lagos, Nigeria.

The visits, scheduled for July 30 and 31, 2025, will be led by the Honorable Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Dr. Akinwumi Adesina.

The Minister’s visit will highlight the federal government’s growing commitment to green Industrialisation, local manufacturing, and innovation in Nigeria’s automotive sector. Adesina’s visit, on the other hand, will focus on supporting regional sustainable industrial development and climate-resilient transportation infrastructure.

SAGLEV’s facility, located at Plot 1/11 Bang Amos Industrial Estate, Ogidiga Crescent, Imota, Lagos, is a hub for electric vehicle production, with 16 models currently being manufactured. These models span ride-hailing cars, status sedans, mid-sized delivery EVs, BRT buses, and utility trucks, showcasing the company’s commitment to transforming transportation across West Africa.
