Aviation Safety Round Table Initiative (ASRTI) has announced that it will at the last quarter of its Business Breakfast Meeting (BBM) rally aviation and allied business stakeholders for a discourse on the exorbitant charges, duties and tariffs in the aviation sector.

Themed ‘Nigeria’s Aviation Sector Charges, Duties & Tariffs: Truly Exorbitant?’ would be held on December 7, 2023 at Golfview Hotel & Suites, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos

Keynote speaker according to ASRTI is the Chairman, Presidential Committee on Fiscal Reform & Tax Policies, Mr. Taiwo Oyedele.

Other speakers at the event are Professor Abiola Sanni (SAN), a specialist in Commercial Law, Taxation & Arbitration, University of Lagos and the Regional Director, International Air Transport Association (IATA), West & Central Africa, Doctor Samson Fatokun.

The event will feature two panel sessions for service providers and airports, with participation by international airlines, fuelers, ground handlers, licensing agents, catering service providers, airline operators, private airport stakeholders from Anambra, Ebonyi, Asaba, Bayelsa, MMA2, amongst others.

President of ASRTI, Air Commodore Ademola Onitiju (rtd), said the Minister of Aviation & Aerospace Development, Barrister Festus Keyamo and heads of aviation agencies are expected to grace the occasion.

ASRTI, Nigeria’s foremost aviation NGO has for over 20 years, used advocacy to pursue the advancement of safety, professionalism, growth and development of Nigeria’s aviation industry.
