Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL), operators of Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two (MMA2), and one of its staff members, Mrs. Nafisat Adeniran (Head of Safety), have clinched the ‘CSR’ and ‘Health & Safety Professional of the Year’ awards, respectively at the SISA 2023 (Safety and Wellness Awards) event held on Sunday.
BASL Head of Corporate Communications, Ajoke Yinka-Olawuyi, who announced this in a news release said the company received the CSR award in recognition of its outstanding commitment to promoting safety and wellness.
This, according to her, highlights the company’s unwavering dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety, a crucial aspect in the aviation sector.
Simultaneously, Adeniran, emerged the ‘Health and Safety Professional of the Year’
highlighting her exceptional contributions and leadership in advancing health and safety practices within the organisation.
SISA 2023, an event aimed to celebrate organisations and professionals demonstrating commitment to safety, wellness and sustainability practices was held at
the Civic Centre, Ozumba Mbadiwe Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Representing BASL at the event were the Acting COO, Mrs. Tosan Oduokoya, the Head of Operations, Mr. Blessing Ewah, and the celebrated Head of Safety, Mrs. Nafisat Adeniran.
Also in attendance was Yinka-Olawuyi who stated that the recognition received by both BASL and Mrs. Nafisat Adeniran stressed the company’s commitment to excellence in safety, wellness and sustainability practices, setting a benchmark for the entire industry.
