Abuja Furniture Production (AFP), the furniture manufacturing subsidiary of Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, is set to showcase its latest designs and innovative furniture solutions at Made-by-Design Nigeria 2026, as it seeks new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within the design and built environment sectors.

The four-day exhibition, scheduled for October 22 to 25 at the National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos, will bring AFP into contact with designers, architects, interior decorators, business owners and other professionals interested in contemporary furniture and design solutions.

AFP planned to use the platform to strengthen its market presence, unveil new designs and engage potential clients and industry stakeholders on emerging trends and opportunities in furniture production and interior design.

Among the products lined up for display are its height-adjustable table, privacy glass, mobile drawers, waiting-area sofas, French doors, fire-rated doors, bullet-resistant doors, Yorkshire sofas, Chesterfield sofas and classic boiserie wall panels.

The company will also showcase new designs that reflect evolving concepts in the industry and respond to changing customer preferences and market demands.

Beyond displaying its products, AFP is looking to establish new business relationships and foster collaborations that could translate into long-term partnerships and commercial opportunities.

Sustaining a Presence in Nigeria’s Design Industry

AFP has participated in at least seven editions of the annual Made-by-Design Week since 2017. Although the company was unable to participate in the 2020 and 2025 editions, it is returning to this year’s exhibition to reinforce its engagement with the design community.

Over the years, the company’s exhibition stand has attracted visitors from diverse professional backgrounds, including wood technologists, students, architects, interior decorators and business owners.

The exhibition has provided opportunities for visitors to learn about AFP’s products, explore their practical applications and engage with the company on potential projects.

Through product demonstrations, professional interactions and knowledge-sharing, AFP has continued to use the event as a platform to highlight its capabilities and explore new possibilities in furniture production and design.

Its participation in the 2026 edition is expected to further strengthen these engagements while opening new avenues for collaboration and business growth.
