The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) has commiserated with the Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Prince Mohammed Bello Koko, over the recent death of his father, Alhaji Muhammad Koko, the Emir of Koko in Kebbi State.
The MWUN led by Comrade (Prince) Adeyanju Adewale, in a condolence letter to the Managing Director prayed that God grants the late Emir eternal rest.
“We as a Union in the maritime sector, is deeply pained over the sad occurrence and fervently pray that the Almighty Allah in his Infinite mercy grant him eternal rest; and to the family he left behind, give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“The entire executives of the Union recognise the brilliant and dynamic leadership roles of the Emir in the development of Koko while alive; hence, the royalty of Kebbi traditional council and the entirety of Koko people will equally miss the virtues of the late Emir.
“On this note,we pray that the late Emir’s soul, Muhammad Koko finds rest in the bossom of the Almighty Allah, Ameen,” the letter read.
