Nigeria Maritime Journalists (NMJ), a body of all media practitioners in the maritime subsector has announced the postponement of the scheduled award dinner, in honour of the Comptroller General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi.
The CGC, following unprecedented achievements in trade facilitation, enviable interagency collaborations, capped by a breathtaking revenue generation, was scheduled for honour on Thursday January 16, 2024 , by the highly impressed media practitioners.
However, a statement made available by the Chairman, Organising Committee, Dele Aderibigbe, said the postponement was compelled by circumstances beyond the control of the organisers.
While stressing that a new date would soon be announced, the statement indicated that the Association deeply regrets any inconvenience the unexpected postponement must have cause invited thr guests.
