The Maritime Reporters of Nigeria (MARAN) has announced its third quarter Breakfast meeting scheduled to hold on Wednesday July 24, 2024.
The association uses this medium to formally invite stakeholders to this all important meeting that would be addressing issues on trade facilitation.
The Breakfast meeting is scheduled to hold July 24, 2024: at the Rockview Hotel, Apapa Lagos.
A statement signed by MARAN President, Mr. Godfrey Bibvere, disclosed the theme of the breakfast meeting as ‘Trade Facilitation and President Tinubu’s Economic Agenda : Matters Arising.’
According to him, the topic is germane and is also intended to educate the public on contributions of trade to the development of the nation’s economy.
The Breakfast meeting is expected to be attended by Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service, Adewale Adeniyi, other chief executives of government agencies and critical stakeholders in the industry to brainstorm on Trade Facilitation with a view to proffering solutions to the challenges .
Other dignitaries expected at the Breakfast meeting to be held at Rockview Hotel, Apapa, include ship owners , freight forwarders , President General of Maritime workers Union of Nigeria ( MWUN), Adewale Adeyanju, and other stakeholders in the Marine and Blue Economy industry.
