Stella Bassey has emerged as the early leader in the Season 11 Photo Challenge of Face of Maritime International (FOMI), scoring 4,349 points to lead 16 other contestants in the competition.

Ifeoluwa Ige followed in second place with 3,791 points, while Adebayo Ajoke occupied the third position with 3,497 points, according to the published rankings.

The Photo Challenge is designed to promote beauty, confidence and visibility while encouraging greater participation of young women in Nigeria’s maritime industry.

Adesewa Odunewu came fourth with 3,130 points, while Emmanuella Obidigbo secured fifth position with 2,853 points.

Esther Akitoye ranked sixth with 2,471 points, followed by Rokibat Olaoye in seventh place with 2,205 points. Priscillia Nambam came eighth with 2,204 points, just one point behind Olaoye, highlighting the close contest among participants.

Gloria Michael ranked 11th with 1,581 points, followed by Amazinggrace Pumta in 12th place with 1,573 points and Favour George in 13th position with 1,556 points.

Precious Akan occupied the 14th position with 1,346 points, while Ayomide Abdulganiu came 15th with 1,257 points.

Vivian Chibuikem completed the published ranking in 16th place with 1,138 points.

Beyond the competition, the FOMI Photo Challenge provides a platform for contestants to expand their reach, build self-confidence and engage wider audiences in an increasingly competitive digital environment.

The initiative is powered by the Girls Go-To-Sea Campaign Initiative, a non-governmental, non-profit organisation committed to gender advocacy and women’s empowerment in Nigeria’s maritime sector.

By combining a beauty competition with maritime advocacy, FOMI seeks to draw attention to women’s visibility and inclusion in an industry critical to shipping, port operations and international trade.

The competition also provides an opportunity to encourage young women to take a greater interest in the maritime sector and its diverse career opportunities.

Although Bassey currently leads the Photo Challenge with 4,349 points, the final winner of Season 11 is yet to emerge, as contestants must complete the remaining stages of the competition before the Grand Finale.
