Abuja is getting a taste of Jetour’s big, bold idea of what a premium pickup should be, with the Jetour F700 set to take centre stage at the Jetour Experience Abuja from September 22 to 24, 2026.

The three-day activation, holding at Maha Event Centre, Area 8, Garki, comes on the heels of the F700’s reception in Lagos and is expected to attract fleet operators, corporate buyers and motorists looking for a pickup that combines serious working capability with the comfort and technology of a luxury SUV.

Exterior

And the F700 certainly looks like it means business.

At nearly 5.5 metres long, the double-cab pickup has the size and stance of a vehicle designed to make an entrance.

But beneath the imposing exterior is where Jetour has packed some of its most interesting technology.

Hybrid Power With Plenty of Muscle

Built on the heavy-duty platform of Jetour’s G700 luxury SUV, the F700 combines utility with an electrified powertrain.

Its Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM-O system pairs two high-output electric drive motors with a turbocharged petrol generator that supplies energy to the battery while the vehicle is in motion.

Jetour said the setup is designed to deliver up to 1,300 km of combined driving range, while fuel consumption can be as low as 1.39 litres per 100 km.

The F700 also comes with an 800V CATL battery architecture, which, according to the automaker, can take the battery from 20 per cent to 80 per cent in about 10 minutes.

That is a lot of technology for a pickup designed to work as hard as it looks.

Ready for the Rough Stuff

The F700 is not being positioned as a pickup meant to spend its entire life on smooth city roads.

Its intelligent XWD all-wheel-drive system, supported by front, centre and rear mechanical differential locks, is designed to handle demanding terrain.

With 9.5 inches of ground clearance and a claimed 900 mm water-wading capability, the pickup is built to take on muddy tracks, construction routes, rocky trails and water crossings while maintaining the composure expected of a premium vehicle.

The suspension setup combines a high-tensile ladder-frame chassis with independent double-wishbone suspension, giving the F700 the hardware to move between demanding work environments and everyday highway driving.

A Pickup With an Executive Side

Inside, Jetour has taken a different approach from the traditional rugged pickup cabin.

The F700 gets a 35.4-inch panoramic “Sky Screen” stretching across the dashboard, alongside a 15.6-inch central command touchscreen for vehicle functions and telematics.

Premium materials, aviation-inspired acoustic insulation and a suite of active driver-assistance features add to the cabin’s more executive feel.

So while the exterior and chassis are built around the idea of getting serious work done, the interior is clearly designed to make the journey enjoyable too.

Abuja Gets Behind the Wheel

Visitors to the Jetour Experience Abuja will have the opportunity to see the F700 up close through live technical walkarounds, dynamic demonstrations and hands-on driving trials.

The Abuja activation also provides another opportunity for Jetour to showcase its growing presence in Nigeria, supported by its authorised dealer network, including Elizade Nigeria Limited, New Era AutoVehicle Services, Germaine Auto Centre, Kojo Motors, Mandilas Autos, R.T. Briscoe and TAB Autos.

For three days in Abuja, the F700 gets to do what a vehicle like this does best – make a statement, show off its technology and, hopefully, get a little dirty along the way

With nationwide after-sales support, certified technicians and access to genuine parts, Jetour is positioning the F700 not simply as a head-turning new pickup, but as part of a wider premium vehicle proposition for the Nigerian market.
